Place several pages of a PDF side by side on one sheet, the arrangement usually called N-up printing. Choose how many pages go on each sheet and the tool scales them down and lays them out in a grid. It is the standard way to cut the paper cost of printing slide handouts or a long draft you only need to read once.
At 2 and 4 pages per sheet, ordinary body text generally stays comfortable to read. At 9 and especially 16 the result is best treated as a visual reference or a proof, not something to read closely.
