View and change the document properties stored inside a PDF: title, author, subject, keywords, creation and modification dates, and the producing application. These fields are easy to forget about and routinely leak information - an author name from whoever originally created the template, or a filename in the title that says more about your organisation than you intended.
Metadata is inherited from whatever created the document, so a file built from a colleague's template will often carry their name. It is worth checking before sending anything outside the organisation.
Yes - many readers show it in the window title bar in preference to the filename, and search tools index it. A document titled "Untitled 1" or "invoice_template_v3" is telling everyone that.
